Late last week we put the finishing touches on our new abum, Daddy Was a Bankrobber.
Like most musicians, I tend to be a pretty tough customer when it comes to my own recorded output. I usually find listening back to my own albums to be about as enjoyable as going to the dentist. But this time it’s different. I really, really, really enjoy this album…as a listener. And I take that as a very good sign that you will, too.
As usual, this album features a number of High 48s originals as well as some off-the-beaten-path songs by the likes of The Clash and Robbie Fulks.
We’ll be releasing Daddy Was a Bankrobber on June 16th and celebrating with a show at the Cedar Cultural Center. Hope to see you there!
